Today a local dealer offered a 1988 Kubota 4500 4wd diesel with FEL for $11,800. About 2,500 hours. Looked good...said it was a 'strong runner'. Paint was fresh, so couldn't tell actual wear...
What do you you think? I'm new to this and, well, cautious!

Art, yes, numbers 'right'. '88 Kubota 4500 (45 hp) with heavy duty FEL, 4WD, Diesel...2500 hours for $11,800. Did you ask due to great price, or ridiculous? I've been told both and have no idea...Help? Thanks!! Ray ....

`That is not a model that was originally made for the US, if you go to there website you may find it listed under the gray market list. ....
